MIAMI — Tropical Storm Vicky weakened to a tropical depression on Thursday, the National Hurricane Center said.

NHC says the storm is forecast to dissipate by Saturday.
According to the 11 a.m. update Thursday, Vicky is 1,000 miles west-northwest of the Cabo Verde Islands with 35 mph winds and it's moving west at 14 mph.
