Sandbags available for Polk County residents

TAMPA, Fla. — As Florida prepares for Hurricane Isaias and other storms that could come our way this summer and fall, Polk County is providing refills for residents looking to refill their sandbags.

Sandbags will be available for Polk residents at the county's Road and Drainage maintenance facilities on Saturday, August 1 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Each vehicle is allowed to fill up to 10 sandbags. Residents are asked to bring their shovels.

Polk County residents can fill up sandbags at the following locations:
