TAMPA, Fla. — With the restaurant and bar industry taking a hit among coronavirus concerns, local ad agency and production company Dunn & Company wants to step in and be part of the solution.
Dunn & Co. launched the Creative Carryout campaign Wednesday, a completely free way for restaurants and bars to revamp their logos and menus as they transition to take-out and delivery only. Inquires from restaurants are already rolling in.
This Tampa ad agency has worked with the Tampa Bay Lightning, Grow Financial and Smokey Bones. The company's very first client 17 years ago was Firehouse Subs, and since then it has worked closely with restaurants in the area.
"We're very familiar with how the coronavirus is decimating the restaurant industry," said President and Chief Creative Officer Troy Dunn. "So we thought, 'how can we just raise awareness for the fact that these restaurants are still open?'"
Through Creative Carryout, Dunn & Co. is collaborating with brands to convey their take-out and delivery message, including a newly modified logo that emphasize a to-go option, photos of their food, a new look for a condensed take-out menu and optimization on social media channels.
"It's the least that we can do," said Dunn. "Every small owner of a company that's in a position to be able to help the community should look for ways to do that. We're all in this together."
