TAMPA, Fla. -- Despite the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, college football season is still alive for USF Bulls fans. However, the school's athletic department announced on Thursday that the Bulls will kick off the 2020 home opener without fans at Raymond James Stadium.
The Bulls will not have fans when they host The Citadel on Saturday, September 12. However, USF said on its website that it plans to allow fans into the stadium for the team's remaining four home games of the 2020 season if state and local officials give the green light.
USF did not give an estimate on the number of fans it will allow at Raymond James Stadium this fall.
