If you thought Monday was busy in the NFL free agency world, buckle up.
Future Hall of Fame New England Patriots QB Tom Brady has announced he will NOT be returning to New England next season.
In 2 tweets Tuesday morning, Brady gave a big thank you to New England and Patriots fans, but said his football journey will "take place elsewhere."

He has been a legend in New England for two decades and has 6 Super Bowl rings, but now the question is what will his next chapter hold?
NFL Network's Ian Rapoport says the Tampa Bay Buccaneers made a strong offer to Brady believed to be $30 million or more. He says the L.A. Chargers did too.
Yesterday, betting sites had the Bucs as the favorites to sign the QB.
Additionally, Colin Cowherd of Fox Sports says a source "in Tom Brady's stratosphere" said he is coming to Tampa.
"I was told that Tom Brady signs tomorrow with Tampa Bay."

The Buccaneers yesterday used the franchise tag on Shaq Barrett, consequently meaning Jameis Winston is a free agent.
Winston is coming off a 30 INT season, while Brady threw just 8.
ESPN's Adam Schefter said that Brady hasn't made a decision on where he will play next season yet and will be exploring his options.
All we can do now is wait and hope that arguably the best quarterback of all time decides to make his home here in the Tampa Bay area!
