The Tampa Bay Lightning announced Thursday afternoon on Twitter they have traded forward Jonathan Drouin and a conditional 2018 sixth round pick to theMontreal Canadiens.

In exchange for Drouin, the Bolts got defenseman Mikhail Sergachev and a conditional second round 2018 draft pick.
Drouin was Tampa Bay's second leading goal scorer last season with 21 and also logged 32 assists.
The left-handed shooter was Tampa Bay's first round pick (third overall) in the 2013 NHL draft.
Sergachev is just 18 years old and skated in four games for Montreal last year after making his NHL debut last season.

He played in 50 games with the Windsor Spitfires in the Ontario Hockey League where he had 110 goals and 43 points.
He was selected by the Canadiens in the first round of the 2016 NHL draft at ninth overall.
