LAND O' LAKES, Fla. — A Pasco County couple does not root for the same sports team.

Felice Vargas is from Kansas City, she's rooting for the Kansas City Chiefs in the Super Bowl.

"I went to a lot of games with my family growing up and never missed a game when I was in high school and college," said Vargas.

Her husband, Geraldo, is cheering on the opposing team, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

"I'm looking for a great game, very, very highly contested, coming down to the last minute just like all the great Super Bowls and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers squeezing it out for victory," said Geraldo.

The couple's twins are also divided.

Eric, 13, is cheering for dad's team since the Raiders are not playing.

"I'm going to support my main team and if they get out, I'll support my secondary team," said Eric.

The couple's daughter, Mariana, has been rooting for the Chiefs ever since her family went to training camp two years ago.

"I like that I get to eat lots of food and just have the TV blasted and we're all cheering," said Mariana Vargas.

Their Pasco County home is filled with memorabilia from both teams.

"It’s an experience. I mean, we all have a love for sports especially football," said Felice.

The family loves game day.

"I'm rooting for the Chiefs. He's rooting for the Bucs so there's going to be some strong bets this week," said Felice.
