SAFETY HARBOR, Fla. — We’ve all heard the saying “age is just a number.” Tom Brady is setting out to prove it as the oldest quarterback to play in a Super Bowl, and a big fan of his is setting out to prove it too, likely as one of the oldest people to watch the game.
“Oh, I’ll say 97! But I’m older,” said Angie Ronco.
We’ve all lied about our age at one time or another, and at her age, she’s probably earned it.
“I was born in 1922, figure it out,” laughed Ronco.
At 99-years-old, she’s just two years younger than the NFL.
“I’m over 100 years old! I can tell you that. And I’ve had a good life. Wonderful family. I couldn’t ask for more,” said Ronco.
Now she’s counting down the days until she gets to watch her team play on the big screen.
“The Bucs are the ones that love,” said Ronco.
And she’s confident Tom Brady and the rest of the team will be able to put the smack-down on the Kansas City Chiefs, just like they did against the Packers.
"Go Bucs go,” cheered Ronco.
And while she watches from home, there will be a cardboard cutout of Angie inside Ray Jay for the game, so Bucs, do it for her!
