The Tampa Bay Lightning officially have their revenge on the Columbus Blue Jackets, winning Game 5 and the series to advance to the next round.

- Brayden Point flips one over the right shoulder of Korpisalo in overtime to give the Lightning the win and sending the Bolts into the next round!
3rd Period

- Kevin Shattenkirk takes a pass from Nikita Kucherov and sends a screamer past Korpisalo to bring the Bolts back within one with nearly 8 minutes left to go. 4-3 Columbus
- Jackets go on the power play once more with 10:30 left in the 3rd period
- Blue Jackets take advantage of a bad turnover to extend their lead. Oliver Bjorkstrand makes it 4-2 Columbus
2nd Period
- Columbus dominates Tampa Bay in the 2nd period, outshooting them 24-8
- Lightning's Pat Maroon called for roughing with just 1 second left in the period. Columbus will begin the third period on the power play
- Blue Jackets score a late goal with just 15 seconds left in the period, Alexander Wennberg gives Columbus a 3-2 lead.
- Columbus capitalizes on the power play as Kevin Stenlund ties it up 2-2. Coach Jon Cooper calls timeout to regroup
- The Lightning are called for yet another penalty. Sergachev is heading to the box for a hooking call with 10:59 left in the period
- A scuffle sends a player from each team to the penalty box, as we get a 4-on-4 6 minutes into the second period
- Lightning called for a slash for the 3rd time in the game, this time it's Blake Coleman heading to the penalty box just 30 seconds into the period
1st Period
- Alex Killorn gets called for a slash and Columbus goes back on the power play with 5 minutes to go in the 1st period.
- The Blue Jackets get one back on the power play as Nick Foligno backhands a rebound into the net. 2-1 Lightning lead
- Bogosian gets called for slashing on a Columbus breakaway. The Jackets go on a power play halfway through the first period
- Coleman's goal is his first as a member of the Lightning

- Blake Coleman fires a wrist shot from the right circle that sneaks past Blue Jackets goalie Joonas Korpisalo as the Lightning score just about a minute after their first goal. 2-0 Lightning lead
- Erik Cernak fires a slap shot deflected by Tyler Johnson and into the net to put the Bolts on the board first just over five minutes into the game. 1-0 Lightning lead

After back-to-back wins, the Tampa Bay Lightning look to close out the series with the Columbus Blue Jackets Wednesday afternoon.
The Lightning won games 1, 3 and 4 to take a 3-1 series lead. One more win sends the Bolts to the next round.
After a marathon Game 1, the Lightning-Blue Jackets series has looked a little more normal, with the Lightning playing solid defense and holding key leads in games 3 and 4.
HOW THEY GOT HERE
The Lightning secured the second seed in the Eastern Conference bracket after finishing second to the Philadelphia Flyers in round-robin play. Tampa Bay finished second in the pandemic-shortened regular season to the Boston Bruins.
The Blue Jackets locked a spot in the 2020 Stanley Cup Playoffs after beating the Toronto Maple Leafs 3-0 in winner-take-all Game 5 of the qualifying round. Columbus finished the abbreviated regular season with the ninth most points in the Eastern Conference.
