The Tampa Bay Lightning have re-signed forward Yanni Gourde to a six-year contract, locking him down through the 2024-25 season.

The deal is worth $5.166 million AAV.
Gourde is 26 years old and has four goals and 12 points this year and is tied for second on the team in points. He leads the team with eight assists.

"Yanni personifies our team's identity with his speed and relentlessness on the ice and his strong character off of it. He is proof of how far hard work and dedication can take you, and we look forward to him continuing his career in Tampa Bay."
Gourde's entire career so far has been spent with the Bolts, and he notched a career-high 25 goals and 39 assists last season.
He also set the Lightning rookie record for goals and points in a season last year.
