The suspension is in response to an alleged incident with an Uber driver from two years ago. Winston was accused of groping a female Uber driver in Arizona.
ESPN says the league still hasn't notified Winston of its official decision, and surrounding circumstances could still lead to an increase or decrease in that suspension.
Winston would reportedly lose $124,000 in base salary over 3 games because his base salary is $705,000 this year as opposed to more than $20.9 million the following season.
Backup QB Ryan Fitzpatrick started at times last season when Jameis Winston was injured, and would likely be the choice to play in the games Winston would be suspended in.
