TAMPA, Fla. — The University of South Florida's football team will sport a new look when it opens the 2019 season against Wisconsin on August 29.
The Bulls will be the first team in the country to wear Adidas' new WVN A1 uniform.
Adidas says the high-tech jersey will help player performance. It is the lightest uniform the company has ever created.
The jersey uses four-way stretch woven fabric and stretch mesh paneling to provide a higher range of motion and better ventilation.
"We look forward to the Bulls looking great and feeling great in the new lightweight, breathable material," said Michael Kelly, USF Vice President of Athletics.
The Bulls will wear a green uniform at home and white on the road. Both colors feature a reflective metallic gold horn on each shoulder using material developed in Israel. The lettering and numbers on the jerseys will also be done in metallic gold.
