Hope Villages of America (HVA) is hosting two mobile pantry events in Pinellas County this week.
Any community member in need of food may pick up a prepackaged box of groceries during one of two mobile food pantry events. There will be no ID, papers or pre-screening required to get the food.
On November 25, HVA’s mobile food pantry distributed 780 pounds of food to 78 families in the community, for a total of 361 people served. Two other events have served almost 500 additional residents.
To protect staff, volunteers and recipients, each mobile food pantry event will follow social distancing guidelines and operate as a drive-through.
