TAMPA, Fla. — CareerSource Tampa Bay is reopening offices with limited operations on Tuesday, May 19.
CSTB says the Tampa Center location will reopen from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. with limited career services. The Phase I opening of the center is to provide customers without computer access or those with limited computer skills with specific services, according to a press release.
The following services will be offered in the Resource Room:
- Basic Reemployment assistance services
- Job Search registration and/or assistance
- Access to computers, printers and faxing
CSTB encourages those with access to their own computers to utilize that personal access rather than coming into the center. Anyone who needs help from home can contact the Customer Contact Center Mondays through Fridays from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. by calling 813-930-7400.
According to the release, the contact center will no longer offer weekend hours. The Resource Room capacity will be reduced, and there will be a one-hour time limit enforced.
Customers are encouraged to wear face masks and will be required to sanitize their hands when they enter the center. Customers will also be screened, and anyone displaying COVID-19 symptoms will not be allowed to enter the building.
We have been working diligently and taken much thought and consideration into this next step of reopening our facilities", said CEO John Flanagan. "We do want to make sure that we are available to assist our customers and that we're doing everything we can to help during this crisis in a safe and smart manner."
