The Rapid Response Recovery Program (R3) began on Monday as a call center, but a surge in calls caused issues. Residents were unable to connect or heard a busy signal when calling.
The county created a second phone number, but the issues continued because of the huge demand.
Residents can now apply online here for help paying for utility bills, rent, and even mortgage payments. You can also still call (813) 274-6710 for help. The call center is open from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m., Monday through Friday.
