Trump, Obama head to Florida in last push to rally voters before Election Day

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. — With a week to go before Election Day, politicians are hoping to rally up last-minute support in the battleground state of Florida.

There are more than 13 million registered voters in Florida. As of Tuesday, more than 3 million voters in Florida already cast ballots. 

What to know about President Trump's visit to Southwest Florida on Wednesday

President Donald Trump will be in the Sunshine State on Wednesday and Saturday. Trump's first appearance will be in Estero, near Fort Myers, rallying for Republican gubernatorial candidate Ron DeSantis. Trump's MAGA rally will take place at 7 p.m. on October 31 at Hertz Arena in Estero, formerly known as Germain Arena. He will return on Saturday to hold a rally in Pensacola. The rally will be held at 7:30 p.m. at Pensacola International Airport, according to his campaign organization.

Former President Barack Obama will host a rally in Miami on Friday in support of Democratic gubernatorial candidate Andrew Gillum. The rally will be held at Ice Palace Films Studios in Miami, with the Florida Democratic Party saying full details will be released later in the week.

U.S. Sen. Bernie Sanders is also campaigning in Florida this week. Sanders will return to the University of Central Florida on Wednesday to campaign for Democratic gubernatorial candidate Andrew Gillum. Sanders will be at UCF on Wednesday, October 31, at the CFE Arena, 12777 Gemini Blvd. North, for a rally starting at 11 a.m., according to Gillum's campaign website.
