LAKE COUNTY, Fla. — During severe storms in Central Florida over the weekend, there was a report of a possible tornado.
On Monday, the National Weather Service confirmed that an EF-0 tornado touched down in Lake County.
The Lake County Sheriff's Office said they received reports of the possible tornado around 10:30 a.m. on Saturday.

"Estimated peak winds were 65-75 mph along a discontinuous 2.31 mile path and 0.1 mile wide path in Okahumpka, Florida," according to the NWS.
Deputies observed several homes that had sustained roof damage, damage to siding or damaged carports. There were also numerous trees down.
The City of DeLand says crews are assessing the damage, but it appears to be limited to Melching Field, the city's Little League Field and the VFW Hall sustained damage from the storms.
There is an estimated $20,000-$25,000 in damage to city facilities.
There have been no significant injuries reported.
