After days of anticipation, Publix customers were having a difficult time placing online orders for Publix subs.
All whole Publix subs went on sale for $5.99.
Publix took to Twitter saying:
"Our teams are aware of slowness with the website and app. They are working to get this resolved. Thank you for your patience."

Around 3 p.m., we revisited the site and it appeared to be restored.
At this time, we are waiting for a response from Publix as to what caused the issues with their website and app.
Publix's promotion runs until Sunday, Feb. 23 and includes the popular Publix Chicken Tender Sub, which is normally $8.99.
