STUART, Fla. — Authorities in Stuart shared shocking pictures of an accident scene where a black SUV can be seen stuck in the front of a home, and they say it was another vehicle that caused it.
According to the Stuart Police Department, a white sedan was driving at a high rate of speed when it veered off the roadway. It collided with the unoccupied parked SUV, which was backed into a driveway.
The impact caused the SUV to turn 180 degrees and crash into the front of the house, according to police.
The driver of the white sedan was taken to the hospital with what police believe are non-life threatening injuries. No one inside the home was injured.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
