After a gunman opened fire at a California nightclub on Wednesday night, the Orlando Police Department shared their condolences on Twitter early Thursday morning.

As of Thursday morning, a sheriff says 13 people are dead, including a sheriff's sergeant and the gunman, after a shooting inside a crowded Southern California bar late Wednesday.

Other Florida departments reacted to the tragic news on social media.
