JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Thanks to a tip, a missing 2-year-old boy last seen in Jacksonville has been found safe, according to Jacksonville Police.
A Florida Missing Child Alert had been issued for Legend Jones just after midnight on Wednesday. Police say that the child was picked up from daycare with permission by a family friend, Keith Allen Martin at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, and had not been seen since.
The missing child alert stated that the two may have been traveling in a 2007, green BMW 328i with Florida tag number 4258UW.
The child was located just before 9 a.m. Thursday. Police say they have also made contact with Keith Martin and are no longer looking for the vehicle.
