Authorities say Daniel Everett, 46, was fired on Monday and came back that night with a list of employees to target.
Eunice Vazquez, 37, was shot and killed. The rest of the people on the list are accounted for and safe, police say.
Everett's mother Cheryl spoke with ABC affiliate WFTV in Orlando about the shooting.
“I don’t know what pushed him over like that. He’s never one to break down like that. I just wish he would call me so I could talk to him,” she said.
The Under Armour location remains closed as the investigation continues.
Authorities believe Everett could be driving a 2012 Kia Sorento with Florida tag IH21AC. He is described as 6'7" with a short or bald cut.
The search is on for Everett and he is considered armed and dangerous. If you see him, please call Orlando Police.
