NEW YORK - Gov. Rick Scott will be in New York Thursday for a meeting with president-elect Donald Trump.
Scott tweeted Wednesday that he is looking forward to congratulating Trump on last week’s election win.
The two politicians will meet at Trump Tower, and Scott said he plans on offering his help to "reinvent the federal government."
Looking forward to seeing @realDonaldTrump tomorrow to congratulate him on his big win and offer my help to reinvent the federal government.

Even though Scott raised more than $20 million for Trump during the campaign, the governor of Florida says he is not there for a job interview.
As a former healthcare executive, rumors have been circulating that Trump’s transition team may be vetting Scott to head the Department of Health and Human Services.
