Thanks to a mobile app, FDOT is allowing Floridians to better plan their commutes.
The Commute Connector app allows users to find a carpool or vanpool group. In the app, FDOT also provides customized commute plans, build communities of transportation ambassadors and reward users for making smarter commuting choices.
This service is available to those living in Charlotte, Collier, DeSoto, Glades, Hardee, Hendry, Highlands, Lee, Manatee, Okeechobee, Polk and Sarasota counties.
