Florida has many great things to offer but being a working mom isn't one of them.
At least, that's what a study from WalletHub found.
The site said it looked at 15 key metrics to come up with the best and worst states (and the District of Columbia) for mothers who work.
According to WalletHub the best 10 states are:
1 Vermont
2 Minnesota
3 Massachusetts
4 District of Columbia
5 Connecticut
6 Rhode Island
7 Maine
8 New Jersey
9 Delaware
10 New York
And the worst 10 are:
42 Texas
43 Wyoming
44 Georgia
45 West Virginia
46 Mississippi
47 South Carolina
48 Nevada
49 Alabama
50 Louisiana
51 Idaho
As for Florida? WalletHub ranks it 26th. It says the Sunshine State ranks 20th when it comes to child care, 7th for professional opportunities and 42nd in work-life balance.
