FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. — A baby was born on a JetBlue airplane named, "Born To Be Blue," while en-route to Fort Lauderdale from San Juan.
The baby was born on-board then met by emergency medical services when the plane landed, according to JetBlue.
"Flight 1954 from San Juan to Fort Lauderdale was met by emergency medical services following the onboard delivery of our youngest customer to date, the company said in a statement. "We’d like to thank the crew and medical professionals on board for their quick action under pressure, and wish the new mother and son all the best. Flight 1954 was operated on aircraft N523JB, coincidentally named, “Born To Be Blue.”
The company also tweeted that they were, "giving storks a day off."
