The man suspected of taking 9-year-old Diana Alvares from her Ft. Myers area home 7 days ago has been located.
Jorge Guerrero-Torres was taken into custody overnight after being tracked down in a neighboring county.
Diana was not with the suspect when he was located, investigators are still searching for the missing child.
Back Story:
She was apparently taking somebody home in her neighborhood around 2 a.m. Sunday and did not return.
She stands about 4-foot-5 and weighs 95 pounds. She has black hair and brown eyes.
She may be with Jorge Guerrero, 28, who stands 5-foot-5 and weighs 145 pounds. He has black hair and brown eyes.
Guerrero has ties to the Orange County and Okeechobee County areas.
The tan Chevrolet Malibu with Florida tag number 78NHD they were believed to be traveling in was found on Thursday.
When Diana went missing, she was wearing a short-sleeve shirt and shorts. She may have a green blanket with her.
