ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. — An Amber Alert has been canceled for a 16-year-old girl from the Orlando area.
The Orange County Sheriff's Office said they were looking for a Hispanic man who was suspected of abducting the 16-year-old at a gas station on Friday. They left in what may have been a 2004 Toyota RAV4.
Later, officials were able to locate the suspected vehicle and suspect, Alexander Roman Lopez. However, officials said he was not cooperating with authorities.
The girl was not in the vehicle when Lopez was arrested.
"We just want to make sure she is safe. We want to make sure she is OK," the Orange County Sheriff's Office said.
The Amber Alert was canceled for the girl Friday night.
