State health officials released new data on the positive cases of coronavirus here in Florida on Tuesday night.
The Florida Department of Health (DOH) said eight people tested positive for the virus. Three of the eight patients tested positive out of the Tampa Bay area.

DOH identified the following cases:
- 68-year old man tested positive in Nassau County
- 68-year old female Georgia resident who is currently in Alachua County, Florida
- 73-year old man tested positive in Collier County
- 68-year-old woman tested positive in Collier County
- 64-year old woman tested positive in Collier County
- 67-year old man tested positive in Pinellas County
- 64-year old man tested positive in Pinellas County
- 46-year old man tested positive in Pasco County
DOH said all eight patients are isolated and will continue to stay isolated "until cleared by public health officials. Seven of the eight cases were travel-related, according to DOH.

Health officials did not say if the Georgia resident's case was travel related.
The announcement comes after DOH revealed over the weekend that one Florida resident tested positive and five others tested "presumptive positive."
As of Tuesday night, Florida's death toll from the coronavirus still remains at two. DOH identified the deceased individuals as a patient from Santa Rosa County and a person in their 70s who previously tested positive for coronavirus in Lee County.
