13 people had to be rescued from a yacht that was taking on water off the coast of Lauderdale by the Sea.
The Coast Guard was called to help around 6:30 p.m. Monday night.
Six passengers, six crew members and the captain were pulled from the 106-foot yacht.
When crews arrived, they were able to use a small boat to safely get everyone off the sinking vessel.
The Serena III yacht sank approximately 25 minutes later.
No one was hurt during the rescue.
