TAMPA, Fla. — Tampa Police say a teenager was shot in what appears to be a drive-by on Friday.
The shooting happened near N 20th Street and E Fairbanks Street around 11:48 a.m.
The 17-year-old has been taken to a nearby hospital with serious injuries.
According to Tampa Police, the teen said he was riding his bike in that area when a car drove by and someone opened fire.
Police are searching the area for a suspect.
