UPDATE | Marvin Dean Mayes, 60, of Tampa, who had been missing since late Thursday or early Friday, has been located and reunited with his family, Tampa police said.
ORIGINAL STORY | The Tampa Police Department is trying to locate an elderly male with a diminished mental capacity.
Marvin Dean Mayes,60, left his residence on a black bicycle sometime between 10:30 p.m.Thursday night and 10:30 a.m. Friday morning from the 4400 Block of Varn Avenue in Tampa. His sister said he has never gone missing before.
Mayes needs to take medication for several physical ailments, without his medication he may become increasingly confused.
He is described as a black male, approximately 5'9, weighing 170 lbs, possibly wearing a black t-shirt and jeans, unknown tennis shoes.
