Heading to the fireworks show in Channelside on Monday?
A portion of Channelside Drive and Beneficial Drive will be closed on Monday, May 29 for the show at Channelside Plaza, according to the city of Tampa.
Both directions of Channelside will be closed from the Cumberland Avenue roundabout to Meridian Avenue. Beneficial will be closed in both directions from Channelside Drive to Garrison Cove Lane on Harbour Island. The Beneficial Drive Bridge closure will force traffic for the island to use the Franklin Street Bridge.
The closures will start at 5:30 p.m. on Sunday and end around 10:30 p.m.
The fireworks are expected to start at 9 p.m.
