TAMPA, Fla. — Tampa Police are investigating a fatal shooting.
Tampa Police responded to the 6500 block of N. 40th Street on Wednesday after reports of "shots heard" in the area. The call for service came in at 4:41 p.m.
When they arrived on the scene, they found an adult male deceased, the victim of a gunshot wound. That man was identified as 30-year-old Harvey Sanders.
TPD says preliminary investigation leads them to believe this was an isolated incident and that no threat to the general public exists.
