TAMPA, Fla. — If you live in the Tampa Bay area and have thought about adopting a pet, now could be your chance!
The Humane Society of Tampa Bay is waiving adoption fees on Saturday in an effort to "clear the shelter."
The event will take place at the Humane Society of Tampa Bay located at 3607 N Armenia Avenue in Tampa. You can adopt a pet without fees between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m.
"Clear the Shelters initiative is a community-driven nationwide pet adoption campaign that seeks to match deserving animals with loving and permanent homes," the website states.
