A fatal traffic crash on northbound I-75 near Fletcher Ave. has claimed the lives of two people, officials said.
The multi-vehicle crash happened about 2 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 8, according to the Florida Highway Patrol .
It is unknown what caused the crash, but two people are dead.
The incident involved two sport utility vehicles and a pickup truck. One of the vehicles was carrying a massive amount of nails that spilled onto the road. The road had to be cleared up before it reopened.
All Interstate 75 northbound lane are open at this time.
The traffic crash shut down I-75 NB at Fletcher Ave. and the northbound entrance ramps from Fowler Avenue for several hours.
