Firefighters are still on scene of a 2-alarm fire at a recycling center in Tampa.  They will remain there most of the night to make sure it does not rekindle.

The fire broke out  around 2 p.m. at the Rock Tenn Recycling Corporation located at 5111 N 26th Street.

Investigators say the fire originated in pile of recyclables and started as a result of spontaneous combustion.

At one point, 60 fire fighters were on the scene battling the fire, which they say was dangerously close to the facility warehouse.

Henry Williams, Public Information Officer for Tampa Fire, says there are no injuries.

Damage estimate is about $150,000.
