Wannabe Hulks might get angry this weekend when they can’t find a parking space in downtown Tampa.
Creating a perfect pop-culture storm, Tampa Bay Comic Con, Fourth Friday’s free museums and the Art of the Brick will all bring ginormous crowds into the city at the same time.

Fun? Yes. Incredibly crowded? You betcha.
But like any good superhero, we are here to help you (and we’re wearing a cape as we write this).

Okay, good. Now let’s handle the logistics of parking.
For Tampa Bay Comic Con, parking near the Convention Center could be tough and expensive. So may we suggest Centro Ybor Parking, where you can park all for $8 on Friday.
There will be a ton of Comic Con after-parties and people-watching in Ybor. Plus getting to the big event is easy. Just hop on the Teco Streetcar Trolley, which is just $5 to ride all day and drops you off right in front of the Convention Center.
The Art of the Brick is a free event, so let’s not pay much for parking either. On the 300 Block of Nebraska Ave (also not too far from the Convention Center) are the Purple and Lime lots.
Parking all day for just $1. Fair warning though as your will want to get there early. In fact, for every event it is better to get there early this weekend. Trust us.
Fourth Friday which includes pay-what-you-want at the Tampa Museum of Art has free museums and deals all over town, but Riverwalk and Curtis Hixon Park will be a good place to park the car and wander.
We love a super-secret underground parking garage right next to Curtis Hixon, on the corner of Ashley & Twiggs. It costs about $20 for the whole day, but you can’t beat the location.
If that is full, try the Poe Garage on the other side of the Glazer’s Children Museum. The Poe Garage will be especially handy as well since the Straz Center has a host of Fourth Friday events.
