ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. -- ABC Action News is celebrating National Puppy Day one week late.
This week for our Pet of the Week segment we are featuring seven 8-week-old hound mix puppies who need loving homes.
A puppy would make the perfect gift at the end of an Easter egg hunt for your child. There are five female and two male puppies available.
Shelter workers expect the puppies to end up being medium-sized dogs weighing about 50 lbs. Because hounds are typically hunting dogs they have lots of energy. They would be great pets for families with children and large yards.
The puppies are neutered, microchipped and vaccinated. Their adoption fees are each $200.
