ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. — Paramedics rushed a pedestrian to a local hospital following a hit-and-run crash in St. Petersburg.
Police say Lisa Lee, 47, was crossing 18th Avenue South at 18th Street South when she was hit by a white sedan, which did not stop. Lee died at the hospital.
The St. Petersburg Homicide Unit is investigating the crash.
Officers expect 18th Avenue to be closed for several hours as they conduct their investigation.
