Suspect wanted in armed Chick-Fil-A robbery

SARASOTA, Fla. — The Sarasota County Sheriff's Office is investigating an armed robbery that happened at a Chick-Fil-A on Saturday night.

They say around 10 p.m. a white man armed with a silver/chrome semi-automatic pistol entered the restaurant and demanded money. It happened at the Chick-Fil-A located at 5384 Fruitville Road.

He is described as being in his late 20s or early 30s, 6 feet tall with a slim build and slight facial hair. He was wearing a dark colored jacket, dark pants and a black hat with the Superman 'S' on the front. He also had a yellow bandanna across his face and was wearing black gloves.

The suspect ran from the store on foot in an unknown direction. No employees or customers were injured.
