BRADENTON, Fla. -- A white truck drove away with a stolen trailer early Saturday morning in Bradenton that contained up to $60,000 in musical equipment.
Robert Wagner has been playing live music in the Bradenton community for more than 10 years.
But early Saturday morning, someone tried to steal that from him by fleeing the area with nearly all of his equipment.
"Empty driveway, trailer gone, and just an instant sinking feeling of dread," said Wagner.
Wagner’s trailer full of nearly $60,000 worth of musical equipment was gone.
"Speakers, cables, stands, microphones, subwoofers, mixer boards, lights, a decade worth of purchasing and building a system, it was devastating," said Wagner.
The trailer was stolen from Warner’s driveway that is directly across from a church and a school.
"People are very bold, and somebody had a lot of nerve," said Randy Warren, a spokesperson for the Manatee County Sheriff's Office.
Deputies want people to watch out for a black trailer with silver edges and a white truck with writing under the driver’s side window.
Wager says he’s thankful for the people who have reached out in support but is sickened that someone would do this.
"Actually seeing my trailer disappear. Rips my heart out," said Wagner.
Anyone with information about the stolen trailer or think they recognize the truck is asked to call the Manatee County Sheriff's Office at 941-747-3011.
