SARASOTA, Fla. — To say thank you to frontline workers, students from Hershorin Schiff Community Day School in Sarasota are putting together 'Healthcare Hero Bags' that will be delivered to Sarasota Memorial Hospital.

"The Hebrew word for love is Ahava. Today is our Ahavantine's celebration. It’s our own sort of take on celebrating friendship, celebrating community, and celebrating love," said Dan Ceaser, Head of School.

Students filled 150 bags with handwriting thank you notes, water, and snacks.

"They’re working so hard that sometimes they don’t have time to eat lunch," said Evangeline Wong, second grader.

The bags will be delivered to frontline workers at Sarasota Memorial Hospital.
