Manatee County holding hiring expo for county government jobs on Wednesday

Manatee County Government will hold one of its largest hiring events of the year on Wednesday in Palmetto.

Representatives from various Manatee County departments will be on hand to discuss job opportunities, interview prospective employees and even make on-the-spot job offers subject to background checks and a drug screening.

Positions needing to be filled include:

  • Bus Operator
  • Transit Attendant
  • 911 Emergency Dispatcher
  • Industrial Electrician
  • Paramedic
  • Charge Paramedic
  • Plans Examiner-Inspections Officer
  • Summer Camp Staff
    • Camp Counselor
    • Senior Camp Counselor
    • Camp Site Supervisor
  • Pool/Splash Park Staff
    • Seasonal Pool Guard
    • Splash Park Guard
    • Swim Instructor
