“In Tampa, we don’t drop the ball on City traditions—but we will be dropping a treasure chest instead,” said Mayor Jane Castor. “I’m so excited for Tampa to embrace another new tradition that will bring our community together to ring in 2020 and many more years to come.”
The family-friendly event is free and will also include live entertainment, food and drink vendors.
It starts at 9 p.m. on December 31 at Curtis Hixon Waterfront Park and goes until 12:30 a.m. For more information click here.
