BRADENTON, Fla. -- One man was killed and four others shot in a bar fight in Bradenton early Sunday morning.
According to the Manatee County Sheriff's Office, 39-year-old Gabriel Conde and several other men were at drinking at Tommy Knockers Saloon on 14th Street West when another group of men walked in. For unknown reason, the two groups began arguing.
The argument moved outside the bar before the men began fighting.
One man involved grabbed a gun and began firing. Conde was shot in the chest and died of his injuries.
When deputies arrived to the bar they found people with gunshot injuries. A fifth person later showed up at a local hospital with a gunshot injury.
Conde died from his injuries.
The four other people wounded received treatment for non-life threatening injuries. They are 29-year-old Adlfo Garcia, 22-year-old Calvin D. Lewis, 26-year-old Robert Wright and 18-year-old Fermin Vazquez.
After the shooting the armed man left with two to three men in a white 4-door car, possibly a Chevrolet Impala.
Another man believed to be have been in the first group at the bar drove away in a dark SUV. Deputies believe he may be the person who drove to the hospital with a gunshot wound.
The shooter is described as a bald, Hispanic male, about 5'8" tall, wearing a white T-shirt and blue jean shorts. No specific descriptions were provided of the others involved in the incident.
