Meyers said the three-month-long course will give people a guaranteed position at a Manatee/Sarasota County heating and air conditioning company. The starting pay is about $15 per hour.

“There are people that are out there that really need this and they just don’t know there are opportunities like this available,” said Meyers.

Meyers said potential students need to send her an inquiry by the end of this week.  All interested in getting into the program should email her at MeyersM@ManateeSchools.net.
