MANATEE COUNTY, Fla. — Florida Highway Patrol (FHP) responded to an incident on Saturday on US 301 in Manatee County, resulting in the death of a bicyclist.
FHP said the collision involved a vehicle and cyclist, leaving the victim with critical injuries.
The victim was transported to a nearby hospital but died as a result of their injuries.
Authorities are currently investigating the crash.
