A 5-year-old boy struck by a car Monday in North Port has died, according to North Port Police Department.
Sawyer Gordon was struck just before 4 p.m. on Tropicaire Boulevard near Wampee Drive.
He was playing in his drive way when he darted out in front of a car.
Unfortunately, Sawyer Gordon (4) did not survive yesterdays bike accident. There are no charges as this time. Prayers for everyone involved.
