LAKELAND, Fla. — The 2020 USA Softball Women's National Team will be holding a training camp in Lakeland in February.

The camp will be held at the Barnett Athletic Complex, home of the Florida Southern College softball program.

It will take place from 1:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. on February 1. Fans can attend for free, but there is limited room.

You will need to register for a pass here if you'd like to attend.

The camp is happening before the state of the "State Beside Her" tour, which is a series of competitions and training opportunities for the team as they get ready for the 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games.

“I want to thank Polk County Tourism and Sports Marketing and Florida Southern College for helping us kick off the ‘Stand Beside Her’ tour,” said WNT Head Coach, Ken Eriksen. “The training is a big part of our preparation and for communities such as Polk County to get behind this team is a huge commitment.”
